Mother's Day Wedding Weekend

Mother's day is typically set aside to celebrate Mom's but this weekend we celebrated the beginning of a marriage.  The chapel and reception center were beautifully decorated with seasonal flowers and personal touches from the bride.

The reception was catered by Sweet Gum Bottom and was served following the wedding ceremony.

Daphne and Mark chose Sweet Gum Bottom Wedding Chapel for their spring ceremony. It was a beautiful afternoon and the weather was perfect! You look beautiful!

Black, White and Hot Pink Spring Wedding

For Cindy's Spring Wedding, she chose black, white and hot pink decorations. The reception center was beautifully decorated in these colors.

The chapel was beautifully decorated as well!

April outdoor wedding

It was an absolutely beautiful day for an outdoor wedding in April! Lucy and Pete were united under the Pagoda at Sweet Gum Bottom Bed and Breakfast.

She chose a delicious menu for the reception that was catered by Sweet Gum Bottom.

We also provided her wedding cake.

Beautiful weather in South Alabama

I am writing this blog because I have really enjoyed the weather this week! It has truly given me spring fever! I had my first full day that I could plant flowers and enjoy being outside! The pogoda is simply full of blooms and smells wonderful!

The days are warm and the evenings are still cool enough to build a fire in the cheminea. What a way to spend the evening at Sweet Gum Bottom Bed and Breakfast!

Retirement Reception at Regions bank

We had the privileged of catering the retirement reception for Mrs. Virginia Lowman at Regions bank. I believe she said 46 years of service. Wow, a very devoted employee. I am sure she will be greatly missed! Congratulations and enjoy your retirement! You deserve it!

Outdoor Spring Wedding

It was a perfect spring day for an outdoor wedding this weekend. You could not have asked for a more beautiful day! Below are some photos of the wedding this weekend at Sweet Gum Bottom. We also catered the event as well as the bride and groom's cakes. We had a fabulous time!
