Bed and Breakfast Association of Alabama Inspection

As our inspection for the Bed and Breakfast Association is coming up tomorrow, I thought I would take a minute and explain a little about the B&B Association of Alabama. Upon opening, you are inspected with an overnight stay required. Every other year each B&B is re-inspected by the Assoc. This is to insure that each and every bed and breakfast performs to a certain standard set by the state organization.

When you see a "Bed and Breakfast of Alabama" flag (green) on a front porch or a link like the one below, you can rest usured that Inn is in good standing with the association of Alabama.

These guidelines are there to protect you, the guest, and to make sure that you are comfortable and safe. Each B&B is different but all should uphold the high standards set by BBAA.

Next time you are looking for an Alabama getaway, consider a romantic Bed and Breakfast! We would love to have you stay with us at Sweet Gum Bottom Bed and Breakfast!
