It is beautiful this spring and we had a wonderful time with our wedding guests this weekend! Libby Gantt, daughter of Kyle and Susan Gantt was married in a beautiful Catholic ceremony and the weather was absolutely gorgeous for their outdoor reception in the gardens at their home.
On Friday evening we prepared a rehearsal dinner hosted by the grooms mom, Ms. Liz Cotter. She chose a delicious menu of prime rib, cheesy potato bake, green bean bundles and rolls. Along side of this menu was a fresh salad and corn and crawfish soup (soup, prepared by Liz). Chocolate cake, the brides favorite, was served for dessert. What a wonderful evening!
The next morning, the bridesmaids and all the ladies of the 2 families, met here at the bed and breakfast for a Bridesmaid's Brunch. A sausage and cheese casserole, grits with gouda cheese, home made biscuits and jellies, smoked sausage, fresh fruits and apple crisp was among the items served. What a great time of mingling and sharing of both families.
