A Birthday Party for Doice Cox

The families of Mrs. Doice Cox celebrated her birthday at Sweet Gum Bottom Bed and Breakfast. A host of friends and family came to wish her a happy birthday! She is so blessed to have such a large group of friends.

The menu chosen for this happy occasion was fresh fruits with dip, fresh vegetables with dip, cheese ball and crackers, ham wrap ups, sand tarts, cheese straws, and punch and coffee. atering was created by Sweet Gum Bottom.

A wedding chapel ceremony in Alabama

Andy and Amanda chose the wedding chapel at Sweet Gum Bottom Bed and Breakfast in Andalusia, Alabama for their ceremony. Amanda decorated the chapel very simply in blues and yellows. A tall, fresh flower centerpiece was their backdrop for their 10:00am ceremony. Friends and family were there to help them celebrate.

After the wedding, everyone was invited to a luncheon in the reception center. A menu of prime rib, potato bake, green beans, rolls and a salad was served. Dessert of pecan pie was topped off with a slice of wedding cake. Catering was by Sweet Gum Bottom Bed and Breakfast.

An Alabama Chapel Wedding for Miranda and Garrett

A wedding chapel in Andalusia, Alabama was chosen by Miranda and Garrett. It was beautifully decorated in colors of blues and yellows. Large arrangments of fresh flowers flanked the garden trellis. It was a picture of summertime.


Following the ceremony, everyone was invited to a reception in their honor. The reception center was decorated using the same colors with birdhouses and benches as place around the room. It was so quaint and very much in keeping with the couples lifestyle. I love it when weddings are personal to the bride and groom.

Bridesmaid Luncheon for Hannah Veasey

We really enjoyed catering a bridesmaid luncheon for Hannah Veasey. The menu she chose was a grilled chicken garden salad with rolls and fresh fruit. For dessert she selected homemade bread pudding with lemon sauce. I think everyone wated to eat dessert first. Yummy!

Her aunt, Doris Tyler was the hostess for the day. The reception center was decorated using summer colors of Gerber daiseys (my Favorite). The tables were beautifully decorated as well, with different styles of napkins all in a pleasing color family with the daisys. It was beautiful!

Catering an Alabama Wedding

When selecting catering for an Alabama Wedding, Amanda McGee and Patrick Cobb chose Sweet Gum Bottom Bed and Breakfast. They chose a menu of smoked brisket, specialty green beans, cheesy potato bake, a fruit and vegetable arrangement with dips and chocolate fondue with all the sweet fixens. Sweet Tea and punch were served to the wedding guests to help cool them down from the afternoon heat.
